About Subtitle
2018 launched the London Development Network, a new initiative to support our London built environment leaders by helping business professionals and the whole project supply chain expand their business networks.
LDN is an event focused networking platform which allows people within the construction industry to meet with their peers in a relaxed and social environment. LDN hopes for everyone to have the opportunity to meet each division of a project process and build long lasting relationships within a relaxed and social environment.
The LDN is made up of a talented committee of professionals to drive the initiative and organise the LDN monthly events.

Where do you work?
I work at 3-Sphere as an Associate Director. We are an independent Quantity Surveying and Construction Cost Consultancy, servicing all Sectors within the Construction Industry. Our Central Office is located within the Square Mile whilst also providing UK wide coverage as well as servicing projects in Europe.
What got you into Construction?
Whilst on work-experience at school, I had the opportunity to work at the local county councils surveying department. During my week with them I shadowed several different types of surveyors, building, land, valuation and quantity. In the end I decided quantity surveying was what I would study at university.
Your favourite LDN venue?
My favourite has to be our very first LDN venue at the Gherkin. The building has always been such an iconic landmark for me, so hosting an event at the bar on the top floor was amazing. The fact it was also our inaugural event makes it special.
What makes LDN different?
I love the mix of people that come to each event, whether they are just starting out in their career or are more established, there is always someone new and interesting to talk to. I also think the range of events gives people the option to network over drinks or something a bit more interactive such as crazy golf.
